How to remove Instagram tags
If you are an Instagram user, chances are that you have had the opportunity to see someone delete their Instagram account after they were tagged. This is a common problem for anyone who has been on Instagram and have seen a person “tag” someone else without knowing who the tag belongs to. There are a few things you can do when this happens, the first being to wait. It is understandable that you may be angry at someone who has deleted your account. The best way to handle the situation is to play it cool and act as if nothing happened. If you want to get your account back, there are a few tips that will help you out.
If you are not familiar with how to undo Instagram tags, here is how it works. Click on the Instagram icon in the top right corner of your screen. You will see three dots next to the Instagram icon. These are the privacy settings.
Click on the little gear icon in the top right corner of your screen. Once you click the button, a drop down menu will appear. Select the link that says “tag this” and then hit enter. You will now see all the different images that have been tagged on Instagram by people. To see all the images click on one of the Instagram photos.
You will then see all the photos that are in that set of images. Notice the photo in the upper left corner? That is the one you will need to click on. Now you will notice the red arrow on the Instagram photo, this is how you undo an Instagram comment.
To undo a photo tag click on that photo and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on “edit” next to the tags you want to remove. Look for the little gear symbol and click enter. A list of tags will appear. Choose the one you want to tag and scroll to the right until you get to the “remove” dropdown.
Use your mouse or keyboard of your preferred device to click on the “remove” button. The link for that option will appear at the bottom of your screen. Now click on the link and choose “yes”. When you are done with one or more tags you will notice a “registry link” next to the image. Open up the registry and then follow the onscreen instructions.
