If you use this hand sanitizer, it can blind you or even kill you so throw it now

Throughout the pandemic Coronavirus, the FDA banned more than 100 brands of hand cleansers because they contained methanol, also known as wood alcohol. Methanol is very dangerous because when absorbed through the skin, can cause various serious health problems such as permanent blindness, seizures, and vomiting. Unfortunately, there are some cases in all Covid pandemics who see some people die because they use a hand sanitizer brand that has methanol as a material.

Given this, the FDA this week highlights the withdrawal of hand cleansing product products produced by Scentsational Soaps & Candles, Inc. due to the presence of methanol, benzene, and acetaldehyde. Remember this is very worth attracting attention because the products in question are available throughout the United States and in large retail stores such as Ulta, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. Main countries where products are sold including California, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Texas, Massachusetts, Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Specific products at the issue include SOAPS SCENTSational & Wax Sanitizers with fragrant hand from black and white collections and real collection of photos. Another polluted product is the Saritizer Ulta Beauty Saritizer Sanitizer Spray which is sold in an ounce spray container 3.38 and 3.4.

Regarding the risks associated with these products, the FDA warning does not print words:

Substantial methanol exposure can cause nausea, vomiting, headaches, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, commas, permanent damage to the nervous system, or death. Although everyone who uses these products in their hands is at risk, small children who accidentally swallow products and adolescents and adults who drink products in lieu of alcohol (ethanol) are at most risk for methanol poisoning.

Benzene exposure can occur through inhalation, oral, and skin. There is a reasonable probability that Benzene is present at the level above the maximum daily exposure recommendations can cause cancer including leukemia and blood cancer from bone marrow and life-threatening blood disorders. In addition, animal studies show that acetaldehyde can cause cancer in humans. Until now, the company has not received a detrimental reaction report related to this withdrawal.

Needless to say, the store has been instructed to remove the product above. Next, if you have already bought one of the products listed above, you must immediately throw it away.

The FDA added that anyone who experienced a detrimental reaction of the products involved must report it to the FDA Medwatch special event reporting program or by downloading the form here.
