Astronot Spacex who returns from ISS will pollute the darkness
SpaceX will try to restore the capsule of his crew this week in darkness, splashes of astronauts in the ocean under the night cover for the first time since Apollo 8 in 1968. SpaceX targets Sunday raw hours to restore three astronaut astronauts and one astronaut to earth after strong winds Prevent a pair of previous returns.
The astronaut quartet on the Dragon crew capsule was the second crew to fly on the spacex hardware to and from the ISS. The astronauts will leave the ISS on Saturday night and Splashdown 6.5 hours later around 3am at the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Panama City, Florida. Even though this was the first return of the crew that splashed during the darkness, SpaceX had returned the cargo capsule at night in the past.
Because SpaceX has a return experience and takes capsules under night cover, NASA feels confident in restoring astronauts without problems. NASA’s spokesman Rob Navias said that SpaceX had done a lot of dressing exercises and spent a lot of time doing recovery at night.
As for why the crew didn’t just return a few hours later when sunrise, Navias said The 3 AM Timeslot provided the best weather. On top of the Crew Dragon Capsule is Mike Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker, and Soichi Noguchi. The substitute crew for the arranging astronauts arrived at the ISS last week in different spacex capsules.
Before the departure today, with additional astronauts above the ISS, it was at the highest capacity for crew crew years. The departure of four astronauts also started the next expedition officially.
