British Sikh wanting to avenge Jallianwala Bagh massacre by ‘assassinating monarch’ charged with treason
A 20 -year -old British Sikh man found in the land of Windsor Castle Ratu Elizabeth II on Christmas last year was charged with violating betrayal on Tuesday, a metropolitan police said.
Jaswant Singh Chail, from Southampton who has identified himself as “Sikh India” who wants to “kill” the king as a revenge for the massacre of Jallianwala Bagh 1919 at that time, was also charged with the threat to kill and have offensive weapons. “Following the investigation by the Met Police Terrorism Command, a man was charged with a violation in connection with the incident inside the Windsor Castle page on Christmas last year,” Met Police said.
Chail, which was originally detained under the mental health law, was arrested on the grounds with arrows.
