Instagram Live Rooms put a unique round at Clubhouse Competition

Clubhouse has become the latest favorite social media and, naturally, everyone comes out to copy and kill him. The rivals actually have many opportunities to do that, considering that the clubhouse still has a limited range in terms of invitation and platforms. That said, not everyone wants to copy features for features and some try to put different rounds on social platforms only audio. It includes Facebook’s Instagram which is only quietly launching audio-specific options for shiny new rooms.

Instagram Live Rooms itself is a special version of Instagram Live. While the latter allows the host to talk to one other Instagram user, the room can directly have three for a total of four live video feeds. But in both cases, the audience remains a passive and non-speaker group that can only interact through text typed in chat.

Mashable reports that Instagram only encourages simple new features that turn into audio-only affairs. The host will have the option to turn off their videos and some recreate the Clubhouse experience. Ironically, they can also compete their audio, which may have more limited applications.

It’s not Clon Clubhouse, of course, because nothing has changed to set up into direct feed. Clubhouse and new rivals allow audiences to participate in discussions with their voices, at least depend on the host who controls the session. For now, Instagram is positioning it only as a way to reduce pressure on users to see the best just to connect with their friends or fans.

Facebook does have other businesses designed to reduce some market share from clubhouses while still young. It includes recent announcements about the “social audio” feature that comes to its main platform as well as experimental applications and services such as Q & A hotline oriented.
